Why D’banj missed KaySwitch’s daughter’s birthday lunch

DB Records act, Kayswitch‘s daughter, Kalyani Oluwaseunara Oyebanjo clocked one year on Saturday, March 14, 2014, and to celebrate, the happy father took his daughter out for a buffet in Lagos. Kayswitch and his Liberian beauty queen girlfriend, Meenakshi Monica Subramani welcomed their first child together in 2014.‎ But beyond the talking points of the lunch attended by Tonto Dikeh, regarded as the first lady of D’banj‘s DB Records, ‎is the absence of the Kokomaster himself. Sources in D’banj’s camp say he would have loved to be there but was out of the country and couldn’t make it but NET can confirm he was in the country at the time. He even performed at the Showbiz Interactive event held in Lagos for Goodluck Jonathan the day after. Although ‎not just unmarried having been linked to several women in his career, D’bank has said he will like to have a child like his brother this year, a source speaking on the condition of anonymity said D’banj was aware but was too busy with his own plans to attend his little niece’s birthday lunch.

I remain the President of AGN' - Ibinabo Fiberisima (Actors Guild of Nigeria)

Ibinabo Fiberisima-Egbuka says she remains the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria despite a Lagos High court ruling on March 16th nullifying her October 2014 re-election. Ibinabo said she will be appealing the judgement and until her appeal is heard, she remains the President of the Guild.

"People have been calling me on the phone to say that Emeka Ike is the new president of the AGN. But this is not true. The court did not say that he is now president. It said there was a status quo that forbade us from holding elections. We are appealing that because we cannot wait four whole years for the court’s judgement on that issue. I remain president of the guild till my appeal is heard.

3 lessons Nigeria’s First Lady needs to learn from Simone Gbagbo’s conviction

Former Ivory Coast First Lady, Simone Gbagbo was on March 10, 2015 convicted and jailed for 20 years following her part in the 2010-2011 post-election violence which erupted as a result of her husband, Laurent Gbagbo’s defeat at the polls.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) had indicted Mrs. Gbagbo and issued a warrant for her arrest but Ivory Coast refused to hand her over saying it would try her in its own courts.

Nigeria’s First Lady, Patience Jonathan is set to be investigated by the ICC after she was accused of making inciting comments.

Mrs Jonathan had urged her supporters to stone members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and has also stated that her husband must spend eight years in office.

Here are three things that Mrs. Jonathan should learn from Simone Gbagbo’s conviction:
