Asides ushering in the ember period which means entertainment activities will enter top gear, this month will witness the eventual release of long-anticipated albums from some of the biggest Nigerian acts right now....
Orezi: After entertaining us with hits like Shoki, Rihanna and Shuperu, Sprisal Entertainment act, Orezi is finally ready with his debut album ‘Ghen Ghen’. He’s been worthy of a major break for some time now. Pundits say the turn around may eventually happen with the release, today, of his LP.
The album will feature MI Abaga, Flavour and others.
Brymo: Olawale Ashimi returns with his fifth album and first international offering, Trance which will be distributed in the US by TMG. With his career already slowing down, following a dispute with former label Chocolate City Music, and a legal tussle that did little to push his music, Trance should bring back attention to the music. This father-of-1 is one of the best singers to ever grab the mic. The kind of singer critics will give five stars before even listening to the body of work.

D’banj made the call at a media conference held at Terra Kulture, Lagos on Friday.
He spoke on circumstances surrounding the planned remix of Strong Girl – a rallying for women’s empowerment.
He said, “Women and girls everywhere are being held back as a result of a lack of education and economic opportunity. This stops them from achieving their fullest potential.

The
world leading auto manufacturer, Toyota Motor Corporation, says it has
updated the popular Land Cruiser Prado in a way that will astound its
fans.
A report on Tuesday by an online journal, drive.com,
indicates that the lovers of the mid-size four-wheel drive vehicle are
in for a lot of excitement and comfort as the latest Prado is built with
a more intuitive six-speed automatic gearbox.
“The big news is under the bonnet, where
the 3.0-litre, four-cylinder engine from the previous generation has
made way for a 2.8-litre unit that uses less fuel to produce more power
and torque than its predecessor,” the report states.
Toyota Nigeria Limited’s comments about the Prado on its websites is also instructive about what the ride offers.
