The Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, and the Senator representing Bayelsa-East senatorial district, Mr. Ben Murray-Bruce clashed on Thursday over Aregbesola’s inability to pay workers’ salaries.
The faceoff started after Murray-Bruce, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, said on his official Twitterhandle that he would donate his wardrobe allowance of over N500,000 to the unpaid workers in Osun State and widows in his home state of Bayelsa.
Murray-Bruce, who is the Chairman of the Silverbird Group, said he would give the money to the Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Osun State who would distribute the money to the unpaid workers.
He wrote, “I, Ben Murray-Bruce, will not sit down idly while my fellow citizens die because salaries have not been paid. As a first step, I am immediately donating my wardrobe allowance to unpaid workers in Osun State and widows in my constituency.

Usher Raymond and Justin Bieber sued for ripping off another artist

Justin Bieber and Usher are being sued for their song, "Somebody to Love," because some powerful judges just ruled that they may have ripped off another artist.

According to TMZ
The Bieber/Usher collaboration is "Somebody to Love," recorded in 2010. A guy named Devin Copeland, known as De Rico, and his songwriting partner Mareio Overton claim the famous pair ripped off their 2008 song by the same name.
Problem for Copeland and Overton ... a federal judge ruled the songs weren't similar at all and booted them out of court in 2014.
But a federal appeals court just ruled, the first judge was way off base, concluding, the Bieber/Usher hook have an "almost identical rhythm and strikingly similar melody."
So the case now goes back for a full-blown trial where they're seeking $10 million in damages. Listen to the songs. If you were on the jury, would you nail the Biebs?

Presidency Dismisses Rumours On Buhari’s Delayed Relocation To Presidential Villa

The Presidency has described as baloney the rumours being circulated that President Muhammadu Buhari refused to move into the Presidential Villa because of purported advice from Senegalese spiritualists.
In a statement by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, the Presidency expressed “utter embarrassment at such suggestion,” saying that President Buhari is a practising Muslim who believes his fate belongs to God.
According to the statement, no true believer combines faith in God and reliance on the power of ordinary mortals, who can neither protect themselves, nor protect others from the hands of fate.
Malam Shehu said the so-called “spiritual cleansing of the Aso Rock Villa by Senegalese marabouts before President Buhari moves into the villa” was the figment of the imagination of rumour mongers.
The statement said it was ridiculous to attribute President Buhari’s delay in moving into the villa to any advice from fictitious marabouts.
According to Shehu, renovation works in the villa was largely responsible for the delay in Buhari’s movement into the Presidential Villa.

Davido Is A Brilliant And Obedient Student – H.O.D

Davido-graduant1

Olusegun Ojuola, the Head of Music Department,Babcock University has described Davido as a billiant and obedient student. Until his graduation yesterday,Davido was a lone student in his department and was taught by Mr Ojuola.
Speaking to the NETng at the convocation of the music star on Sunday, June 7, 2015, Ojuola said:
‘Well, the first thing I try to do is to dichotomise the artiste from the student. The Davido I know is an artiste, but the student I admitted into the department is Adedeji David Adeleke and the relationship has been like that all through.’
‘But I can tell you this much, that David is a very very brilliant and very obedient student. When I say Obedient, you can see that in terms of humility. Anytime David is in school, he knows he’s in school as a student.’…
