A Silverbird TV female staff has been reportedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend despite being heavily pregnant.

 

A pregnant staff of Silverbird Television in Lagos, Aisha Noble Mustapha, has been reportedly murdered in mysterious circumstances in the evening of Saturday, March 14, 2015, on her way back from her office.

The beautiful lady was stabbed 11 times on her way to her house in Ogudu GRA, and left in the pool of her blood.

Her boyfriend who is currently in police cell, according to insiders, is being fingered as the culprit. The reason for the suspicion is that in recent times, they have been having frequent disagreement over issues bordering on infidelity and unfaithfulness.

It was gathered that as Aisha was driving back from work, her boyfriend waylaid her and another disagreement ensued and in the process, he allegedly stabbed her to death.

The ‘Alubarika’ singer, who said he went through untold hardship which led him into dropping out of school, told NET in an interview that he wanted to be an IT expert if he had not ended up with being involved in music.
“I wanted to be an Information Technologist, that was my dream, but things came up along the line.”
When asked if he would still make efforts to complete his education, he said: “Yes, I will definitely do (that). When I get the balance, I will surely go back to school to study.”

Young man shot dead by suspected cultists member in UNILAG last night (University of Lags)o

According to reports, a young man whose identity has not been revealed yet, was shot dead around 10pm yesterday night at the University of Lagos Premises (Amphitheatre) by suspected cult members.

 The school is yet to also confirm if he was a student of university of lagos .

I remain the President of AGN' - Ibinabo Fiberisima (Actors Guild of Nigeria)

Ibinabo Fiberisima-Egbuka says she remains the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria despite a Lagos High court ruling on March 16th nullifying her October 2014 re-election. Ibinabo said she will be appealing the judgement and until her appeal is heard, she remains the President of the Guild. 

 

"People have been calling me on the phone to say that Emeka Ike is the new president of the AGN. But this is not true. The court did not say that he is now president. It said there was a status quo that forbade us from holding elections. We are appealing that because we cannot wait four whole years for the court’s judgement on that issue. I remain president of the guild till my appeal is heard.

Former Ivory Coast First Lady, Simone Gbagbo was on March 10, 2015 convicted and jailed for 20 years following her part in the 2010-2011 post-election violence which erupted as a result of her husband, Laurent Gbagbo’s defeat at the polls.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) had indicted Mrs. Gbagbo and issued a warrant for her arrest but Ivory Coast refused to hand her over saying it would try her in its own courts.

Speaking with NET, Patoranking, who was billed to perform alongside Wizkid and Olamide at the epoch event, said he stayed away from social media for two days in bitterness as a result of the Visa issues. Patoranking, who is the MTV Base Artiste of the Month in March, said: ‘My Valentine was so bad; the embassy delayed my passport over Visa issues. I had to stay away from social media on the 14th and 15th because I was so bitter.
